Poplar

~ As I was making this set, I couldn't help but think about how well it matched the poplar bark siding on portions of my home; thus, I chose it as my background for these photos.  Made locally from Tulip Poplar trees, very abundant here in WNC, the bark is harvested in Springtime then dried for months before it can be installed.  I remember waiting anxiously all summer for it to arrive! Picture here is my side yard where I have quite a few Tulip Poplars. They bloom big beautiful orange & yellow flowers in Spring! ~ Dog model wearing size Large sweater in these pictures
